The ESIT Weigh-Feeder is an advanced continuous feeding system designed for precise bulk material dosing across industries such as cement, mining, food processing, chemicals, and grain handling. By intelligently adjusting belt speed based on real-time weight and flow feedback, the weigh-feeder ensures your process receives exactly what it needs — no more, no less.
At its core, the system features Wheatstone bridge-based load cells for accurate weight measurement and a shaft-mounted encoder for belt speed monitoring. With integrated PID closed-loop control, the feeder automatically regulates material flow to match the desired setpoint — feeding mills or production lines according to exact recipes.
Realized flow data is communicated via analog or digital signals to your PLC or control room, with full visualization of status, targets, actual flow, and alarms both on the local operator panel and remotely.
Certified according to 2014/32 AB Directive, this is a world-class dosing solution for demanding industrial applications.
Explanation;
Esit Weigh-feeders find application in processing, mainly cement, mine, chemical, grain or food industries, in order to supply materials with the necessary flow rates accurate and continuously.
The indicators used in the system posses wheatstone bridge based load cells for weight measurement and encoders coupled to the shaft for speed measurement. By utilizing PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) closed loop control method, adjusts the speed of the belt to reach the desired flow rate. At the same time the realized flow rate is transferred to main control room either analog or digitally. This enables the raw materials to be fed to the mill according to the recipe selected.
The operating state of the indicator, target and realized flow rates, total material passed, error and warning messages can be viewed and set on the operator display of the indicator or remotely on the operator display the main control unit PLC.
